The October Edition
Annie’s Favourites
Welcome to the very first edition of Annie’s Favourites. This is something I have quietly been building for years. An endless list of things that inspire, support or move me. It only feels right to now start sharing it with you, month by month.
These first five favourites are not only the things that have been guiding me lately. These favourites answer some of the questions I get asked most often. So here you go — my very first five favourites for the month of October.

This month of October carries a special energy for me. A lot of newness. Change. Spirals. Endings as well as new beginnings.
I have to think about the equinox. About the light and the dark. Going from the outside to the inside. From the heat to the cold... It feels like it is time to slow down and respect the rhythms of nature.
1. Cordyceps
I was introduced to Cordyseps by my Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor Irene. I will be speaking to Irene for Season 01 of Annie’s Alchemia The Podcast. She will explain why she introduced me to the Cordyseps mushroom.
In my experience, Cordyceps is all about energy, stamina and vitality. It feels soft yet powerful — the kind of boost that helps me start my day with clarity and grounded strength. A kick without coffee.

Cordyceps is an adaptogenic powder I add to my cacao every morning. Without fail. I love my cacao ritual.
2. Witchy Woo – Vyrao
I have completely fallen in love with Witchy Woo, a perfume by Vyrao. The brand was founded by Yasmin Sewell. I first listened to her speak on podcasts. She spoke about her vision and about her passions. So much of what she said inspired me.
To me, Yasmin embodies the word alchemy. Everything she creates is natural, intentional and rooted in connection with the Earth. She is a succesful entrepeneur who acts based on intuition. It feels like Yasmin knows what she is doing.
What I adore about this perfume is how crystals, fragrance and energetic intention are brought together into one bottle. It’s proof that something ancient and esoteric can be transformed into something cool and modern. Spraying it on feels like a ritual to me.

3. Bach Flower Remedy – Impatiens
No Favourites list would be complete without a Bach Flower Remedy. Lately, I have been feeling the Impatiens essence a lot. The flower remedy set from Dr. Edward Bach consists out of 38 essences. The Impatiens is one of them.

The Impatiens is about patience, surrender and trust — themes that have been very present for me while building Annie’s Alchemia. This flower remedy reminds me to let go of the timeline and to trust life having its own flow.
I take my remedies intuitively throughout the day. Sometimes I notice shifts instantly, sometimes gradually over weeks. For anyone struggling with frustration or impatience, this remedy could be a gentle companion of support.

4. Amethyst
The crystal I have found myself closest to lately is the Amethyst. I wear it on my chest in the form of a necklace. A jewellery piece I created myself.

I believe that the Amethyst is connected to the third eye chakra. Staying close to this crystal helps me quiet my mind and tune into my body. For me, the crystal feels like a protective and deeply intuitive stone — a reminder to trust my inner wisdom and to stay centred.
5. The 555 Series
Opening up my playlist for you feels like opening up my journal. The playlist I built over summer — The 555 Series — feels emotional and dreamy. A chapter of my life wrapped in sound.

These were my very first five favourites for October. I hope something resonates with you, inspires you or adds a little magic to your day.
This series is endless and will keep growing. I cannot wait to share more discoveries with you next month. Please let me know what you would like me to write about next.
